Arcam, the architecture centre Amsterdam, just opened a brand-new multimedia installation that tells the spatial story of Port-City – the largest urban extension in the Netherlands and the largest expansion of Amsterdam since IJburg. Our team member Nynke Anna van der Mark has created stories about some of the historical layers of this area. The video below, produced by Shosho, is one of three video’s you will find at Arcam and deals with Amsterdam’s centuries-long battle against water.
