Madelon Simons

Madelon Simons studied art history at the University of Amsterdam and has been a teacher of Art History of the New Age since 1985. She specializes in the history of collecting and the creation of the first museums. Her thesis entitled “The Theatrum of Representation” is about one of the most famous collectors of the 16th-century Archduke Ferdinand II of Austria during his stay in Prague between 1547 and 1567.
